Katherine Patricia Young, affectionately known to many as Queen. She is a native Louisianan, who gave her life to the Lord in 1986. When God called her into ministry His instructions were simply “To Teach the Body of Christ to Live a Victorious Christian life!” Which simply mean: “Jesus paid it all…walk in it!”
Katherine, received her formal education in Louisiana, in which she is a Graduate of The Louisiana Institute of Technology, Majoring in Business/Office Operations. She is married to John E. Young, USAF (retired) and has traveled with the military in the Continental United States and abroad. The couple has been married for 28 years.
Katherine is the proud mother of a son, D’Ante and one precious daughter Johna. She is also the “GranQueen” to five beautiful granddaughters.
Pastor Katherine, is an ordained Minister of the Gospel, and Staff Pastor at New Creation Family Church, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is also the founder of the Berean Women’s Ministry. Katherine is immersed in ministry and have worn many hats such as: Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Director of the Women of Stature Ministry. She is also a facilitator of prayer groups, conference planner/speaker and recently added to her ministry resume’, Author. Pastor Katherine has penned two revolutionary and life changing books “Woman of War” & “Girl Fight!” which is changing Women’s lives’ everywhere! Katherine, enjoys speaking to women groups, and teaching /mentoring discipleship classes. She also travels and speaks at many churches, retreats, and women gatherings.
Pastor Katherine and husband Pastor John, now reside in Bossier City, Louisiana. Where she enjoys, writing new books, reading, interior design, gardening, food, fun & fellowship with loving family and friends.
